Don’t underestimate the importance of having quality shocks on your vehicle
Many ride quality problems can be solved by having the right shocks.
The suspensions on most older cars, pre-mid 1980’s, were designed to use hydraulic shocks.
Unfortunately, these shocks are no longer made for many of the vehicles of this era. Most shock manufacturers now make gas charged shocks for these vehicles.
Lucky for you, we have found a couple of hydraulic shock manufacturers who still make hydraulic shocks.
We also have found that the Excel-G shocks made by KYB are made with the least amount of gas charge. These have very little adverse effect on ride quality.
For a little stiffer ride, select the Gas-A-Just KYB shock when available.
