1967 Ford Fairlane Station Wagon brought home to New Hampshire from Nova Scotia in October of 2023. 77K miles on the original 289 motor and Ford Cruise O Matic transmission.
I spent most of that winter wrenching on the car to turn it back into a safe family cruiser (countless mice chewed wire repairs, new fuel tank, bench seat, LED lighting, full suspension) along with a few performance goodies (headers, 4 barrel carb/intake, dual exhaust, disc brakes, and a 3.55 limited slip rear). She's been all over the local car show circuit and even made an appearance at the Carlisle Ford Nationals in 2024 where she won 3 awards.
The car turns heads wherever she goes, and just about everyone has a wagon story about the back seat and the Magic Tail Gate. Thanks to Eaton for help on the rear leaf springs!
