Tech Question - Mustang II Front

Mike,

I have a 1941 Chevy coupe with a mustang II front suspension. The car has a big block in it and the front springs are sagging, Throwing off the geometry. I need new springs that will carry the weight and restore the correct geometry to the suspension. You recommend a spring on your web site # M21122. Will these springs correct the problem?- Rick

Rick,

As you know each street rod is a unique vehicle and to say any part will fix or cure a problem without trying the part can not be safely said. The springs we show are ones which based upon a lot of experience will work the high 90% of the time. They are our recommend starting point.

Should you be one of the unfortunate ones that does not end up with the expected results we at least now have a good benchmark to go by to make the required adjustments.

We advise you to buy the springs, install them drive the car like you stole it (provided there is no interference) and then decide if everything is all right.

If not, let us know what needs correcting and we will go from there, we have 23 springs to choose from. Provided the 1st set of springs have not been altered, cut, painted, powder coated, chromed, played with by 5 year olds, we will exchange them. You pay freight both ways. - Mike
