Tech Question - Leaf Springs Changing Wheelbase

Mike,
I had new rear mono leafs installed on my 1967 Camaro Convertible and the result is my wheelbase is now 1.25" shorter.
I had ordered (not from you guys unfortunately) leaf springs, could I have received the wrong ones?
Do you have the measurements of your/the proper monos that I can compare against?
I might be buying new ones from you!
Do you know of a mono that is setup that would reduce my wheelbase by 1.25"?
Thanks!!
Alex

Alex,
The measurements of all Camaro and Firebird rear leaf springs are 25" x 31".
The correct way to measure a spring is to follow the curve of the spring and go from the centerline of the front eye to the centerbolt.
And then from the centerline of the rear eye to the centerbolt.
Unless the front of the spring is less than 25 Inches, the only other cause of your problem is an incorrectly mounted spring, which would be real hard to do with a mono-leaf spring mounted to a mono-leaf axle.
Be sure to let me know what you find.
Mike
