Tech Question - F150 Over Loads

Mike,

I recently purchased from Eaton Spring new heavy-duty rear leaf springs for my 2003 Ford F-150 4WD pickup truck. I currently run a pair of Monroe Gas shocks on the rear.can you recommend an Eaton product that will provide more stability with heavy loads in the bed and towing heavy trailers.

Regards - Rick

Rick,

The biggest challenge to increasing a truck's stability and stance when loaded is maintaining it's ride qualities when not loaded. We at EATON Spring have a product that can meet the challenge.

It is our SES Ride Control Helper Springs. They simply bolt on and you forget about them. When the truck is empty she rides like she should. Then when you load her up, the helper springs automatically engage and you ride off into the sunset with ease and comfort.

Part Number TMFR1525HD will provide an additional 3,000 lbs carrying capacity and as you can see it is an easy bolt on. A wonderful product! No air lines to mess with. Simply bolt it on and forget about it. - Mike
